where will you find your tribe?

As a cradle Catholic growing-up in the Church I was not accustomed to large, vibrant youth groups, lay-lead bible studies and prayer gatherings, or hip mom’s ministries. Although the tenants of our faith have remained unchanged (as they should) our Church culture seems to be evolving. Catholic youth groups are becoming dynamic forces within the church and the community. Grass-roots bible studies and prayer gatherings of every topic, and for every age are igniting like a wildfire across the Catholic landscape. Moms are uniting to form a brigade of prayer warriors to fight against the current culture that so viciously seeks to destroy their families.

The more the world is turned up-side-down the more Catholics need to lean on their faith to make sense of what’s going on. This is exactly why every Catholic mom needs to be part of a community, better yet, a tribe. Us moms can’t do it alone, especially while the world seems to be turning against God and the family. In order to thrive as the “heart” of our Catholic families, we need peer support, a common mission, a shoulder to cry on, and a network of other Catholic women.
